I’m not trying to deceive you – the title of this video might be all about water, but that’s pretty much where the topic ends. That being said, it doesn’t mean that this video isn’t important to the overall discussion.
Taken from David Foster Wallace’s Commencement Speech to the graduating class of Kenyon College in 2005, this 10 min video is packed with wisdom about perception, gratitude, and conscious thinking. Wallace challenges the graduates, and all of us, to alter our natural default setting and increase our awareness of the world around us.
Though not directly related to water, these are the same ideas as those required for innovation, for sustainability, and for communication across disciplines and cultures.
I doubt you’ll regret watching it…it might just change how you think.
