It covers 71% of our planet’s surface and makes up 60% of the human body. It gives life and is required by every living thing on Earth. It is also one of the most destructive forces with the ability to devastate cities and erode landscapes.

It is a powerful resource, and it can connect everyone on the planet.

I created this site as a knowledge sharing outlet to bring like-minded people together, using cross-disciplinary communication to encourage conservation and sustainability. Posts on this site will discuss environmental conservation, travel, conferences and programs, health and wellness, and, of course, water and WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene). It is my hope that as this site progresses, content will move to included stories, op-eds, quotes, photo galleries, guest editorials, scientific endeavors, and fun anecdotes.

If you have something you want to share, I want to hear about it! Together, I hope we can make this an international platform for people to share their research, their projects, and their stories relating to water. To become a part of this journey, contact wordsoverwater@gmail.com.

Thank you for checking us out!
